About
SORDI.ai is a massive, open-source synthetic dataset created by BMW Group in collaboration with Google Cloud, NVIDIA, and others. It contains over 1.2 million photorealistic images and their modalities, encompassing 120+ unique object classes from industrial settings (logistics, transportation, office environments). The data is labeled with bounding boxes and is designed for tasks such as classification, object detection, and segmentation. SORDI.ai aims to accelerate AI development in manufacturing by providing high-quality, consistent data that's difficult to obtain from real-world sources. It's generated using NVIDIA Omniverse and leverages USD and MDL workflows.
