Siopi is a community-focused app designed to help people with tinnitus. It allows users to connect with others who have similar symptoms, share their experiences, and learn about therapies that have worked for others. The app aims to improve tinnitus care by building a collaborative database of treatments and using AI to identify links between symptoms and treatment responses. Siopi also facilitates communication with researchers and doctors to transfer learning through scientific publication and guidelines.

Is Siopi free?
Yes, and it will remain so forever. The content in Siopi is created by the community, for the community. You if can, we invite you to donate to help us pay the bills.
How is personal data managed?
The data will not be shared for commercial purposes. It may be used for advanced public research, in which case it will anonymize as long as you give your consent. And second, improve the app via internal research which may be the subject of scientific publications or communication. The data, in this case, is pseudonymized.
What is the goal of Siopi?
Help 1 millions people with tinnitus find a treatment and improve their life.
There is no cure for tinnitus, you cant help us.
After working years on tinnitus, we saw many people solving their issues and not looking back. We can tell you that even without cure, there are solutions to manage tinnitus and (rarely) make it disappear. Science lacks the data to sort out what works and what does for what type of tinnitus (we documented more than 12 subtypes). We just need to figure out with science what works for who. We also need to do it in a scientific way to avoid having quacks in the equation.
How do you plan finding a treatment for 1M people?
1. Build the largest collaborative database on tinnitus treatments made by the patients for the patients. 2. We use AI to clean and dig into the data in search for link between specific set of symptoms and treatment response. 3. We work with researchers and doctors to transfer our learning through scientific publication and guideline. 4. We make our technology accessible to any new treatment who want to benchmark their efficacy.
Who is behind Siopi?
The founders are Robin Guillard (doctoral student and engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique) and Louis Korczowski (engineer, doctor in signal processing, and researcher). Siopi also has a technical team, software engineers, and data scientists.
How is Siopi financed?
The app is funded by a Lopez-Loreta grant obtained by Robin Guillard for his work on tinnitus. Also, we have subsidies and grants from the French government via the BPI. You can help us reach the next milestone by being one of our contributors.
Is there a desktop version?
For now, Siopi's app is only available on mobile and tablet.
