RETINA-AI Galaxy is an AI-powered tool for on-site diabetic retinopathy screening in primary care settings. It analyzes retinal images in under 10 seconds to detect moderate or worse diabetic retinopathy (mowDRet) and vision-threatening diabetic retinopathy (vtDR). The system works with multiple robotic cameras (Centervue DRSPlus, Crystalvue NFC-700, Topcon NW400) and provides an easy-to-read diagnostic report. It's designed for ease of use by medical assistants or nurses with minimal training. The tool aims to improve healthcare access, prevent blindness, and save costs by closing care gaps and reducing payouts. A clinical trial demonstrated 90.3% sensitivity and 85% specificity on DRSplus.
