Who is Events.com?
Events.com powers a two-sided marketplace and platform that empowers passionate people to create, promote, discover, and enjoy events.
What happens to my Remo account and events created?
There will be no disruptions to your Remo account, your events or your use of Remo. You will still be able to access Remo and your events as usual.
Will my plan be updated or changed?
No, we will not be updating any plans for now as a result of our acquisition.
Will all the Remo features still be available?
Yes! We will not be making any functional changes to the Remo platform and how it works, meaning all features and processes will remain as is.
What changes should we expect?
You can expect some gradual changes to Remo’s UI as we update our colors, fonts, logos, e.t.c. to better match the look of Events.com.
Who is my customer success manager now? Where can I reach out for support?
Your customer success manager and all support channels will remain the same for now - you’ll still be able to reach us via email or live chat.
What does the acquisition mean for Remo’s platform?
Both Remo and Events.com share a mission to empower event organizers to better plan and host events of all kinds. With this acquisition, we’re now able to leverage the expertise and resources of Events.com to further expand what Remo can offer.
What happens to my data?
All data will be retained by Remo for now.
When are the new plans going to be live?
The new plans will be effective for new subscriptions from Friday, October 1 2021, at 10:00 AM PT.
Why are the plans changing?
We’ve heard from most of our customers that they have very diverse event schedules for the year, and we have created these new plans to accommodate these needs better.
Will this change affect me if I currently have an active subscription under the old plans?
As long as your current subscription is active, this change will not impact you at the moment.
If I am currently under the old plans and then cancel my subscription but want to renew later, can I go back to one of the old plans?
No, if you cancel your subscription, any renewals after October 1, 2021 will be under the new plans.
If I am currently under the old plans, in the future, can I downgrade or upgrade to another old plan?
No, changes that you make to your subscription after October 1, 2021 will be under the new plans.
If I purchase between now and September 30, 2021, what will happen to my subscription once the new plans go live?
Your subscription will not be affected by the change unless you want to upgrade, downgrade, renew or decide to switch to one of the new plans.
What if I have already been provided a quote* as per the old plans and I am currently discussing it with my company/team?
Please email the Sales and Development Representative who sent you the quote and provide them with an ETA for when you will reach a decision.
