About
RagHost is an API designed for rapidly building internal tools that leverage retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for document and text management. It allows users to easily upload documents, query them via an API, and receive responses without the need to create a separate training set or deal with document parsing complexities. The tool allows for configurable embedding, enabling users to choose chunk sizes for their documents, which can significantly impact the retrieval quality and ultimately the answers generated. Currently, it supports OpenAI's GPT 3.5 Turbo but plans to include additional models, such as Anthropic's Claude 2. RagHost emphasizes efficiency, making it cost-effective for users who are concerned about expenses associated with other AI assistants.
