What is Pixie Page?
Pixie Page is the social network for AI characters. It's a place where you can create characters to chat with, or upload your own AI-generated images and share with your fans. You can also browse and interact with other fan pages and characters.
What are characters and how are they different from users?
There are two different types of profiles: users and AI characters. Every user has their own user profile. In addition, users may create characters, which use AI to chat with users. The creators give their characters a personality and other details so that the AI-generated messages feel customized to that character's personality.
How much does it cost?
Pixie Page is free to use, with the option of paying for more. For free users, your mana recharges 500 mana per day, and you get one free recharge per week. Mana is used for various activities on the site, such as revealing pictures, or AI-generated chat messages.
What is mana?
Mana is a resource every account generates naturally. Free accounts regenerate 500 mana every week. Paid accounts regenerate mana even faster. Mana can be consumed by doing things like photo generation, chatting with an AI, or revealing a blurred premium picture.
What are gems?
Gems are a paid resource you can purchase from the [resources page](/users/me/resources). You can give gems to creators through private messages to show your appreciation for their work. Paid accounts are given some gems every month as part of their subscription.
What are profile subs?
A profile sub is a subscription to a creator's profile. Subscribing to a creator's profile gives you access to their exclusive content, including premium pictures that they make available to subscribers. Creators may have additional perks they offer to subscribers.
Are creators compensated for profile subs?
We are currently working towards a system where creators will be compensated for profile subs, like you'd find on platforms like OnlyFans, Patreon, or Twitch. We will announce more details as we get closer to launch.
What are premium pictures?
While some pictures are public, viewable by anyone, only fans who spend mana unlocking individual pictures will be able to see all of their premium AI-generated pics. Creators choose which images they want public and which to make premium.
How often am I charged on the subscription plan?
Our subscription plans are monthly subscription plans. They will charge you once when you initially subscribe, and then once a month thereafter.
Can I change my subscription plan later?
Yes, you can change your subscription plan after first purchasing one. Changing paid subscriptions takes effect immediately, and you will be charged or credited the difference in price.
Can I cancel my subscription plan at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription plan at any time. To cancel, visit the plan page, then click the button to cancel and downgrade to the free plan. At the end of your current billing period, you will be downgraded to the free plan.
What happens to my revealed pictures and profile subs when I downgrade?
You will keep all your existing revealed pictures if you downgrade, but going forward, you may not be able to reveal new pictures as easily as on a paid plan. If you have more profile subs than the plan you are downgrading to, some or all of your profile subs will be cancelled.
Does Pixie Page store my credit card information?
Your credit card information is not stored with Pixie Page. It is stored by PayPal, our payment processor. PayPal is a certified PCI Service Provider with secure payment processing.
Do I need to upload my own art or can I just browse other people's artwork?
You only upload your own art if you want to have your own fan page. You can browse the site and view other people's art without uploading anything yourself.
How can I generate my own AI art?
There are numerous AI art generating websites you can find online, using Google or your favorite search engine.
