Education Requirements:
PhD or MSc
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience in machine learning methods
Experience with one or more machine learning software packages (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc)
Proficiency in scripting languages e.g. C++, Python, R, etc.
Experience with cloud or high-performance computing (e.g. AWS, GCP)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Other Requirements:
Experience with data science tools such as Git, Docker
Experience or interest in graph convolutional networks
Expertise or interest in bioinformatics, computational biology, computational chemistry
Experience modeling protein-protein interactions, or protein folding
Responsibilities:
Work with the executive team to develop, lead, and execute the short and long-term machine learning strategy and roadmap
Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms for protein design
Work with the CEO to create, communicate, and implement the organization's machine learning vision, mission, and overall direction
Supervise 1-3 junior computer scientists in development of protein-design applications
Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of machine learning and computational approaches in drug discovery
