About
Mbody is an open-source, bilingual, applied research project focused on advancing generative character animation technologies. It aims to provide free tools and datasets for animators, developers, and researchers. The project develops a generative animation tool, software systems for integrating machine learning, and a multi-agent interaction dataset. Partners can guide the project, gain early access to outputs, and connect with industry innovators. The research is led by four Canadian research centers: SIRT, CDRIN, Durham College's MRC and AI Hub, and LLio.
