How do inquiries get into the software?
Each folder in kinisto has its own email address. Requests can be forwarded to this address, either automatically or manually by employees. Requests can also be dragged and dropped from Outlook into kinisto's overview.
How are relevant positions recognized?
Relevant items in performance specifications are identified based on keywords. These keywords can be customized.
What if the request is in the email, not in the performance specification?
In individual cases, this is already possible. Soon, kinisto will also be able to read requested positions from emails as standard, in addition to those in performance specifications.
What if we receive both PDF and GAEB files?
You can process both PDF performance specifications and GAEB files with kinisto.
How does the product data get into the system?
Product data is uploaded to kinisto via an Excel file or regularly synchronized via a direct interface to the ERP or PIM system.
What if I have configured articles (variants without a fixed article number)?
kinisto can also suggest product variants. However, this is more complex and depends on various factors (are there variant numbers/is the product freely configurable/is there a configurator?). We can best assess this together in a consultation.
How do the prices get into the system?
Product prices are stored in kinisto with the product data. Product- and customer-specific prices and discounts can also be configured - please contact us.
What in the software is AI or intelligent?
In kinisto, artificial intelligence is used to reliably read performance specifications and recognize relevant positions in large amounts of text. Basic data, such as construction projects and due dates, is also extracted from incoming emails using AI. The intelligent product suggestions are based on an AI-based comparison between item data and the requested performance specification items.
What information is automatically recognized besides the performance specification items?
kinisto recognizes the construction project, the due date, and possibly the submission date (your customer's due date). It also recognizes whether an offer has already been created for these request items.
How does the AI for product suggestions work?
After each completed offer, kinisto remembers which products fit which requested positions. If the same product is requested in another request, the software automatically suggests it. kinisto learns with each created offer, and the suggestions become increasingly accurate.
Does kinisto learn? And if so, how does it work?
Yes, kinisto learns. With each completed offer, kinisto remembers which product was offered for each performance specification item. Product suggestions become more accurate and suitable over time. Initially, kinisto can be given a "learning head start" based on historical offer data or standard tender texts. However, this is only worthwhile if the data is already available and does not need to be created extra. After a few offers have been created with kinisto, the suggestions will quickly become better even without the data from the past.
How many completed offers are necessary for the product suggestions to become good?
This depends on the product portfolio and the type of inquiries. kinisto learns continuously - often, suitable product suggestions can already be seen from the first offer. Depending on the complexity of the product portfolio, we recommend 50-150 created offers for good results.
Is it possible to use historical offers or manufacturer texts as training data?
Yes. However, historical offers must be created with reference to the performance specification number, be available in machine-readable form, and have the corresponding performance specification available.
