Joy Planet Store is a company that creates personalized children's books. Customers can build their own book by choosing a template, entering details about the main character (name, age, photos, hobbies), and reviewing the book before ordering. FAQs
Is it necessary to print the book?
No. You can opt for receiving a digital copy only. A high-quality and print-ready PDF file will be sent to your email address.
How long does it take to print my book?
The printing process usually takes from two to five business days after the order is placed. All our books have a hard cover and that makes the printing time longer, but it assures much better book quality compared to other types of book covers.
What countries do you ship to?
At the moment we ship to the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand. The full list of the supported countries will be available to you on the checkout page.
What is the shipping time?
The shipping time depends on your location and the shipping method that you can choose on the checkout page. It can vary from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are in the middle of the process of integrating our system with a world-known Payment Gateway. We are plaining to support credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and many other global and local payment methods available in your country. At the moment, we accept wire transfers. It usually takes from one to five business days to receive transfers depending on your bank.
Can I cancel my order?
There is a short two-hour time window between the order is placed and before it goes to printing. You can cancel the order during this period.
Can I get a refund?
If for some reason, the book is damaged or bad quality it will be fully refunded. Just drop us a message at support@joyplanet.store. We might ask you to send a few pictures of the delivered book. For more info check our Refund Policy.
I haven't received my refund yet. What can I do?
Check your bank account and contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If no success and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us support@joyplanet.store.
Can I track my order?
Please visit Track My Order and enter your order tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to your email address once the book is printed.
Can I get a discount for my next purchase?
If you are an existing customer we would appreciate if you could send a review for your book to us. A discount coupon will be sent back to you.
What book formats do you print?
We print square 8.5"x8.5", US Letter Landscape 11"x8.5" and US Trade 6"x9"
What paper type do you use?
The paper type is 60# White. Standard weight.
I want to upload a photo of my kid. What quality and format should it be?
Even though we support all popular types of images like jpg, png, gif and every image is automatically scaled to the proper size, we highly recommend using images with high density. The picture might look good on your phone or computer, but when printed it might look blurry and have "pixels". So, the quality we recommend is 300 DPI. (dots per inch). No worries, out system will give you a warning and instructions if it detects that your image is not good enough.
Where will my book be printed?
Books are produced at print facilities in the United States, France, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Whenever possible, your book will be manufactured and shipped from the facility closest to the shipping destination.
Can I change the way my picture is cartoonized?
Yes, just click "Regenerate" on the review page. The process of book creation will restart with a new picture.
