How does the active user seats work?
You are charged $55 per user who interacts or is managed by the platform. If a user doesn’t interact with the platform but is managed via smart access in a team they will be charged a user seat license.
What is an inactive seat?
An inactive seat is a user who the previous month interacted with the platform but didn’t interact in the current month. If a user is still managed by the platform such as being part of a team, they will be charged a user seat license for that month.
What counts as an interaction with the platform?
Interactions include using Slack commands or asking questions and performing tasks with Hyphen bot, accessing via the CLI, or interactions with the Hyphen app.
Do I get charged for users added to a team if they haven't interacted with the platform?
Yes, you will be charged a user seat license for any user added to a team, regardless of whether they interact with the platform as we perform access management for that user.
Is there a way to test the platform before committing?
Yes, we offer trial credits to potential customers, allowing you to test the platform before making a full commitment. These credits are time-limited and must be used within the trial period.
