HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE A HUMAN TO COMPLETE 1 HOUR OF CLEAR VOICE TRANSCRIPTION?
About 4 hours. One audio hour may be transcribed by an average human in roughly four hours. Most people can transcribe fifteen minutes of a slow, clear audio track in roughly an hour. That time may increase if any of the above described circumstances alter the recording's quality. Ecango AI does it in about 1-2 minutes, even with poorer quality audio files.
DO THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICES INCLUDE GST?
Yes. For example, if you're an Australian customer, your monthly subscription is A$17.99. The GST rate in Australia is 10%. GST is calculated as follows:Total price payable: A$17.99GST amount: A$1.64 (A$17.99 / (110/10) )Total excluding GST: $16.35
How long does it take to transcribe a file using Ecango?
The amount of time it will take to transcribe audio to text depends on the length of your audio file, the quality of the audio. If your audio file quality is good you can expect to take a few minutes to convert 1 hour of audio. If you have poor audio this may take longer.
How much does it cost?
We offer a free forever plan, where you can get 2 free transcriptions and one thereafter per month*(if you participate in our improvement program, just answer a couple simple questions and give us some feedback), with no credit card needed.
Do you offer a free plan?
Absolutely! We offer a free trial that initially includes two 30-minute files and one additional file per month*. This enables you to try out and evaluate the performance of our transcription software. Following the free trial, you can select from one of the most budget-friendly pricing plans. If you need more, sign up to our plans either monthly or if you are looking to get a discount sign up to our annual plans. There are a few options to cater for any size of business.
Which file formats can I transcribe?
Our technology is advanced and can process many file formats. You can upload both audio and video formats and convert them in to text in very little time compared to doing it manually. Once the transcripts are complete, they will show up on your user dashboard, where you can export them into a format that suits. Our free plan offers export files into Plain Text (TXT) and our paid plans help you save time by offering PDF, Word Documents(.docx), Excel(.xlxs), if you are looking to insert subtitles into your video files as a .srt no problem we offer that as well.

How does the translation work?
On our free plan you are able to import a language voice file and output a different language file from our selection of translation languages. On our paid plan the translation can be done at any time you choose, on the pro plan translation consumes your overall minutes allowance and on the business plan its unlimited.
