About
DreamFusion is a text-to-3D AI tool that generates relightable 3D objects from text captions. It uses a pretrained 2D text-to-image diffusion model (like Imagen) as a prior for optimizing a 3D model (a NeRF). The process involves a DeepDream-like procedure and a loss function based on probability density distillation. DreamFusion produces high-quality 3D models with accurate geometry, depth, and normals, which can be exported as meshes. The tool requires no 3D training data and doesn't modify the image diffusion model.
