In what ways can Depix Design Lab be deployed at our facility?
Depix Design Lab can be deployed locally on Windows Workstation, on Windows Server/Linux server, via a certified Depix/HP appliance, externally on your cloud provider, or on Depix designated cloud.
Which deployment is best for my company?
Currently, an on-premise installation on Windows Server or Linux on your internal local network, accessible remotely via web browser, is recommended.
What web browsers are supported?
Depix Design Lab supports Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge on Mac and PC. Safari is not supported at this time.
What operating systems are supported?
Windows 10, 11, Server 2022, Server 2019, Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS, and Amazon Linux 2 are supported operating systems.
If we increase the RAM or GPU VRAM, does that affect the speed of rendered results? Are there any support limits?
RAM does not significantly impact rendering speed, but increasing GPU VRAM can. The type of GPU, clock speeds, and memory bandwidth also play a role. There are no support limits.
What is the recommended hardware configuration for Depix Design Lab?
The latest Nvidia graphics cards that support AI are best. A dual GPU system with a minimum of 24 GB VRAM per card (e.g., Dual RTX6000 ADA) is strongly recommended.
What’s needed to support 100 users?
Each AI image generation requires a maximum of 16 GB VRAM. Adding more GPUs allows distributing tasks for faster performance with multiple users. More info for 100 users is coming soon.
How can AI models be developed on historical data?
Enhancing the foundational model with your data is recommended by sorting, categorizing, and labeling images. For large datasets, consulting with Depix is advised to optimize the process.
What types/categories of images can be used to tune/train the AI models?
Supported image types include clinic/project images, design sketches, individual designers' work, concept/production cars, brand characteristics, and parts like headlamps or wheels.
