What is Transdermal Optical Imaging™?
TOI™ is NuraLogix®'s imaging technology that uses a digital camera and advanced image processing to extract facial blood-flow data from a human subject.
How does Transdermal Optical Imaging™ work?
TOI detects subtle facial color changes from blood perfusion. An app sends encrypted blood-flow info to DeepAffex® Cloud, which uses AI to estimate heart rate and biosignals.
What is Affective Ai™?
Affective Ai™ refers to a device's ability to detect, measure, and analyze human physiological states affecting quality of life. The DeepAffex® Cloud operates on Affective Ai™.

Can you restrict data storage on DeepAffex® to a region or a country?
Yes, the DeepAffex® Cloud uses distributed clusters in specific geographic regions. We can usually satisfy regional data localization and processing requirements.
Why does TOI® need a face-tracker? Do you perform facial recognition?
TOI uses a face-tracker for landmarks to identify regions of interest for blood-flow extraction. Facial recognition is NOT performed, and subjects are not identified.
What kind of user information is needed during measurements and why? Can I measure without providing this information?
Additional user info (profile, medical history) enhances accuracy. While possible to measure without it, it's not recommended as it affects certain biosignals.
What parts of a person's face should be visible during a measurement? Is it possible to measure with make-up, eyeglasses, caps, turbans, hijab, facial hair etc.?
Optimal results require minimal obstructions like glasses, heavy make-up, or facial hair. ROIs should not be occluded to prevent negative effects on measurements.
My measurement had four stars but it still failed. What could cause this?
Star Rating indicates optical quality, while SNR from the Cloud depends on blood-flow quality. High optical quality doesn't always guarantee high signal quality for biosignals.
