Who can see my network?!
If you’ve exchanged multiple emails with someone from your connected email account, and that person joins Connect The Dots™, the platform will default to allowing you to see each other’s networks.
What can other people see when I share my network with them?
The most any other user can ever see is a list of the people you know, their company and title, and a simple score indicating how well you know them. Your email history is never visible to anyone but you.
What kind of sharing controls will I have?
You have the option to block certain companies or people from seeing your contacts, share your network only with people and companies that you choose, or turn network sharing off.
What data do you analyze and store?
Our system captures the "from," "to," "cc," "bcc," date and time fields, subject lines, and email signatures—never the bodies of emails. You have the option to disable email signature scanning.
How do I know that my data is secure and my privacy is fully respected?
Connect The Dots™ completed a third-party compliance attestation for SOC 2 (Type II) in December 2021. This means we have met rigorous standards for security, availability, confidentiality, process integrity, and privacy.
Are there controls for companies?
If you are considering a companywide rollout of Connect The Dots™, we offer a Business Edition of our product that includes a number of enterprise features, including enhanced controls for sharing, privacy, and data retention.
