FAQs
How big can the PRs be?
At the moment we estimate this to be around 200 lines of code. We'll let you know if a PR too large for us and we're working on increasing the limit on the size of PRs we can handle.
How do you trigger a code review?
You can reply within GitHub with a comment saying @coderbuds or trigger a review directly from your Coderbuds dashboard.
Is my code secure?
Your pull requests title, description and diff file is is processed by the ai in a secure environment. We don't store your code at any stage. We do store a record of the PR and the code review results.
How do I get started?
Login with GitHub and then add your repository within the Coderbuds dashboard. We'll try to setup your webhooks automatically, but if we can't we'll let you know.
What does the integration with Teams and Slack do?
They let your team know about any new pull requests so they can also provide reviews. We'll also let you know the status of your ai code review.
Does it actually review the Pull Request?
Yes! You will get a code review from the ai - it will use your PR description and look at the code to decide whether to approve the PR or not. It will give you a summary of the code and recommendations on how to improve it.
If I try this out but prefer my humans in the end, what next?
Yep, humans rule! If you prefer to use humans to review your code, you can cancel your subscription within the first 14 days and we will refund you.
