Nothing happens when I click record. What should I do?
Firstly, don't stress. We'll figure this out. This problem occurs because you haven't given the app microphone access.
The app seems to be taking too long to summarize. What should I do?
If you've waited for a while and the app seems to be taking forever to transcribe and summarize, you might want to consider refreshing the page.
I upgraded to Prime but my account still shows as Free. Why?
Sometimes it takes a minute for your account to get automatically upgraded. If it hasn't happened after a minute, the most common problem is that you were not signed in during your upgrade. In any case, fret not.
Is there a native mobile app for AudioPen?
Yes, there is (for now, on iOS). Search the App Store and you should be able to spot it.
If I purchase AudioPen Prime on the web, will it work on my other devices?
Yes, a single Prime account can be accessed from all your devices, provided you log in to the same account. You can use Prime features on the native app, the web app, or the Chrome Extension.
Can I upload audio files to AudioPen?
If you're a Prime user, yes.
Can I download the audio from my voice note?
If you're a Prime user, yes. Although – audio downloads are only available for a short while after note creation, since they are deleted soon after.
Can I just type a note and ask AudioPen to summarise it?
If you're a Prime user, you can. Click on the button on the bottom right of your home screen and type away!
Does the app work in multiple languages?
Yes, it does. AudioPen can understand most major global languages. Also, if you click on the settings button in the top right corner, you can choose from a list of languages you want it to write in.
What is the difference between folders and tags?
One note can have multiple tags. But one note can only be in one folder. Think of folders as a higher level of organization than tags.
I recorded something but the transcription was incorrect or made no sense. Why?
There are a few reasons why this might happen: * Interfering Audio: Check that your device is not playing audio from another tab or app while you are recording, even if that source temporarily mutes itself during the recording.
I just finished a long recording, but AudioPen only transcribed the first part. Why?
This is a problem that occurs on your phone when you're using the web app, but your screen turns off. AudioPen's web app runs in the browser, and most phones cut off your browser's mic access soon after the screen is turned off
What's your refund policy?
I actually think the free version will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect before you purchase the Prime version. As such, I don't expect many refund requests (and I've been right so far).
Can I expense AudioPen Prime with my company?
Yes, you should be able to. Of course, it would depend on your company. Most companies give employees budgets for productivity tools like AudioPen. While checking out, you could enter your company name and address, and you'll get an invoice that you can get reimbursed.
I want to buy multiple AudioPen Prime licenses. What should I do?
