article2audio is a web application that converts articles and blog posts into high-quality audio narrations. It uses AI to enhance text, add image descriptions, and produce more natural-sounding audio than other TTS apps. The app supports English language with male and female voice options. Users can listen to the converted audio directly on the site or through a podcast app. Pricing is $2.22 per hour of generated audio.

What languages are supported?
We only support English and have no plans to add other languages soon.
How many voices are available?
We currently offer two American English voice options: one male and one female.
Is there an iOS or Android app?
Currently there's only a Web app available. But you can add it to your home screen on your phone and it will look and feel similar to a native app.
How do I listen to articles?
The easiest way to listen is, of course, by clicking the 🎧 icon after conversion is finished. But that's not the most convenient way if you want to convert and then listen to many articles. What you may want to do instead is to use a podcast app that aggregates all audio versions of your articles in one place. Sign in and navigate to Listen page to find out how.
What Web pages can I convert to audio?
The app works best with articles and blog posts. But you can also enter a URL of any web page and we will try to convert it to audio.
Is it permissible to share audio files created with article2audio?
The author of the source material owns the rights of generated audio files. So unless you're the author, you need to get the author's consent to be able to share or distribute audio files or a personal podcast URL feed generated for you by article2audio.
Are there any usage restrictions?
The audio files produced by article2audio can be used both online and offline, for broadcasting and on the radio, and can even be remixed and included in other materials as long as you have the necessary rights to use the source text.
Is commercial use allowed for text-to-speech materials?
Commercial use is permitted for all created content. There are no ongoing royalties or usage rights for the voices beyond the regular account cost.
What is the refund policy?
You have the right to request a refund for purchased but unused balance (in minutes) at a rate that was actual at the moment of the purchase. You also have the right to request a refund for up to 2 hours of used balance.
