About
MetaScan is a tool for creating, editing, and sharing 3D scans from your phone or on the web. It allows users to build scale-accurate models of spaces in real-time with LiDAR, or create 3D scans of objects from photos. Users can edit and organize scans, rotate and crop them, and sort them into folders. Scans can be viewed on the web, in VR with Meta Quest, and in AR. It supports exporting to various formats like OBJ, FBX, GLTF, USDZ, STL, DAE, LAZ, and XYZ, allowing import into 3D software such as Blender, Unity, and AutoCAD. Users can also create looping 360° videos of products with customizable backgrounds, speed, and size.
