What is Aria?
Aria is a free AI tool built into the Opera browser that answers questions and generates any content using real-time network access. It’s based on several Large Language Models and helps users by providing information, reworking text-based content and generating ideas. Aria provides instant answers using up-to-date information and helpful tools for generating content.
How to use Aria?
You can access Aria in many ways but first of all, to start a chat, you need to be logged in with your Opera account. Three different ways to access Aria: * using Opera’s sidebar. If you have your sidebar on, simply click the Aria icon and the chat will be displayed. * using shortcut Ctrl + / on Windows/Linux or ⌘ + / on Mac. After this, you will see a popup window called “Command Bar”. * using AI Prompts on highlight. When you highlight any text on the web you will see a popup with some additional options such as “Explain briefly”, “Explore topic”, or “Translate”.
How to access Aria on mobile devices?
Aria is available also on mobile devices (Android and iOS). If you are logged into your Opera account, you can just tap Aria browser AI in the main menu (Android). In Opera for iOS browser, you can just tap the three dots icon next to the search bar and then choose Aria browser AI.
How do I create a new chat?
If you have an open chat and you want to create a new one, you can click the plus icon on the top bar of the chat dialog.
How do I delete a chat?
To delete a single conversation, go to the chat list on the top bar of the chat. There you can delete them one at a time by hovering on a single chat and clicking the bin icon, then confirming the action.
Is Aria safe for my privacy?
Aria can only access the information that you provide in the ongoing chat. Neither the browser or other web services can access any data that you provide to Aria. In order to ensure your privacy within Aria, it is recommended that you do not include any personally sensitive information in your Aria conversations. For more information on how your data is handled, please see Opera’s privacy statement (legal.opera.com/privacy/).
