SUSTAIN is the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Understandable agri-food Systems Transformed by Artificial INtelligence. It is a collaborative initiative between the Universities of Lincoln, Aberdeen, Queen’s Belfast, and Strathclyde. The center is dedicated to empowering the next generation of AI scientists to invent, develop, and deploy technologies specifically designed for sustainable agri-food. It facilitates meaningful partnerships between academic researchers and industry stakeholders, investing in innovation driven by real-world needs. SUSTAIN focuses on research and development in AI for agriculture and food production, fostering a sustainable future by uniting industry and research.
