lightScience develops MyLab, a new portable device that utilizes Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and AI technology to provide quick, reliable, and safe mass screening for blood tests. The technology works by scanning a droplet of fluid, digitizing its spectrometric data, and analyzing it with a specific chemometric algorithm directly in the Cloud. The results are then human-validated and sent to the user's smartphone. This non-invasive technique avoids chemical solvents, making it safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective. Originally designed for epidemic management (like Covid-19), MyLab is suitable for portable hubs, industrial, and military sites. lightScience was founded by a multi-disciplinary team of PhDs, MDs, computer scientists, and researchers.
