Will this change affect the products/services I currently receive?
No. Since Canva’s purchase of Kaleido in 2021, we’ve continued to operate independently and will continue to do so. This entity change is an organizational and administrative change only. It does not impact our products or community in any way.
Do I need to take any action as a customer?
There are no actions required on your side. This is simply a legal entity name change. All the services/products (i.e. remove.bg, Designify and Unscreen) will remain available to you, as they always have been.
Will my contracts/agreements still be valid?
Yes, your contracts and agreements will remain valid. We want to assure you that this change in the name of the legal entity does not involve a merger or any action that might impact the validity of your existing contracts and agreements.
Will there be any changes to billing and payment methods?
There won't be any changes to billing or payment methods. We will continue to use Paddle as our merchant of record, so for you, the process will remain the same.
How will my personal data be handled after the name change of the legal entity?
In terms of data privacy, there will be no changes. In our various legal documents (i.e. Terms of Service, Terms of Conditions, Cookie Policy, and Privacy Policy) we will update the name from Kaleido to Canva Austria.
