Is Napkin free to use?
Yes, Napkin offers a free plan with some limitations on quotas and features. You can find out more about our pricing here.
Can I use Napkin on mobile?
You can view your existing Napkins on mobile, but creating and editing Napkins is only available on desktop. We believe that the best Napkin generation and editing experience is on desktop for now.
How do I sign up for Napkin?
Click the 'Get Napkin' button on our website and sign up using Google Single Sign-On or by setting up an email and password. Sign-up is only available on desktop.
How do I write prompts in Napkin?
You do not need to write prompts to use Napkin. Simply write, import or paste your text content into Napkin and click to generate your visuals.
What is the best way to use the visuals I create in Napkin?
Export your selected visual as PPT, PNG, SVG, or PDF files. Export the entire document into a PDF. Share a link to your Napkin so your audience can see your text and graphics integrated.
How many languages does Napkin support?
You can create visuals in 60+ languages using Napkin—the visuals will match the language of your text. Currently, our interface is only available in English.
What about team collaboration?
Napkin offers robust features: Teamspace, Real-time Editing for dynamic teamwork, and Commenting & Feedback using a built-in highlighter directly on text and visuals.
What support can I expect if I get stuck?

What are AI credits?
AI credits are our way of measuring and allocating app usage. They are used to generate visuals, with approximately 1 credit charged per word selected for generation.
Is there a discount on annual billing?
Yes! You can save 25% by choosing an annual plan compared to a monthly plan.
Can I change my plan or cancel at any time?
Absolutely! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. If you cancel, you'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my content if I cancel my subscription?
Your content remains yours, regardless of your subscription status. If you cancel, you'll retain access to all created content, but won't have access to advanced features of paid plans.
What happens if I exhaust my AI credits?
The easiest way to get more credits is to upgrade to our Plus or Pro plan. If you use up your credits, you can also purchase additional credits at any time.
Do you offer discounts to Non-Profits or Students?
We don't currently offer discounts to non-profits or students. However, our free plan is designed to accommodate most lightweight usage of Napkin.
